Today, we continue to look at multimedia and how it relates uniquely to the information processes we looked at exhaustively last year.
  1. Distinguish between "analysing multimedia" and "multimedia as analysis".
  2. Outline the ways in which multimedia can be used as a means of analysing other data.
  3. Examine the management information system used to monitor the new school intranet and assess its use of multimedia for the purpose of analysis.
  4. Discuss the following statement: "Multimedia is, by far, our most useful tool for effective data analysis."
  5. Identify as many methods of actual multimedia analysis as you can. Briefly summarise (a) what is involved in each and (b) the peculiar uses and benefits of each.
  6. Explain why multimedia was seldom analysed in the past.
