9IPT: Analysing Methods

Today we're going to rewind a little back to some of the concepts we were looking at back in analysing (and this will be our last lesson on this topic). In terms of order, I really should have done this last lesson - but the double was the perfect opportunity to introduce your group project. So that's why we're doing this now!
  1. Identify the primary weaknesses of analysing NCB data.
  2. List out the common reasons for maintaining manual filing systems in spite of these weaknesses.
  3. Identify the main strengths of CB models and simulations.
  4. Account for the continued manufacture of physical models and simulations (e.g. production prototypes).
  5. Read Mars Mice. (a) Discuss the reasons why such a non-computer-based simulation would be necessary. (b) Make a list of the data to be collected and describe how this data could best be analysed to produce the sought-after information.
