9IPT: Displaying Software

posted Aug 8, 2011, 2:15 PM by Eddie Woo
Back in business. Many pieces of software have features for adjusting the way that data is displayed - partly because we are just visual creatures who like to change how things look, but also because different kinds of displaying convey different meaning and hence information (e.g. size tends to indicate significance). Today we'll be exploring those features.
  1. Outline the attributes of a font.
  2. Describe the different kinds of spacing that can be adjusted on a document.
  3. Explain the way that a mail merge document produces multiple personalised copies of a single master file.
