9K: Locating Oblique Asymptotes

This morning we spent our lesson learning how to locate oblique asymptotes, which helps us to understand how functions behave as they approach positive and negative infinity.

I promised that I would put up the answers to the five questions I gave you in class. As you would expect, you can find the new file in the Year 9 section. Head there to read the answers and check if you calculated the asymptotes correctly.

If you were totally confused by this morning's lesson, then you should go and download the file too as it includes a summary of what we actually learned this morning (about the process for finding the oblique asymptote, and what that mathematical result actually means). Go have a read and let me know if the idea's still unclear after that.
