No, not CounterStrike! This is now our fifth lesson on this topic. So far we've looked at broad principles that apply to all CS: their basic parts, the need for protocols and the mechanics of error checking. It's now time to look at specific examples of these in real life.

Download the attachment below, and add your name to the filename (e.g. comms_systems_examples_adrianchan.docx - just so I can distinguish them). The first eight rows can be filled out from your textbook (pages 80-86), but you'll have to use the internet to research the last few. Also, I have placed a couple of spare rows where you are to add in kinds of communications systems that aren't on the list. Once you have thought of your example, let me know and I'll tell you if it's okay to include.
