IPT: 1 component down, 2 to go

Sadly, those two won't be done until July next year. 8-) But hey! Well done everyone on completing and submitting your project prospectuses (prospecti?). I have read through all of them and have begun to allocate marks - everyone did reasonably well and I'm very pleased with the trajectory you have each set for yourselves in the development of the project. You'll each receive specific comments about your prospectus over the next week or so through this website.

I'd like to remind all aD team members that you have full editing rights to your portfolios, and so you should begin as soon as possible to begin (a) mirroring the content from your portfolio in the original intranet, and/or (b) filling your section with new content like syllabus documents and information about the various courses. In term 1 next year this will kick into a higher gear as you will begin to interact with members of faculty and garnering content from them to upload and make available, but that is for a later stage.

In the process of mirroring the original content, make sure you ask yourself the questions: is this still relevant? Is it placed or structured in a way that makes it easily accessible to students? What sorts of descriptions should I place near to this content to make it more helpful to end users? As always, I am open to questions, so let me know if you need anything.
