Remember that organising refers to arranging, representing and formatting data so it can be used by an information system, while storing and retrieving refers to committing data to devices and reloading it again. In a new classwork post:

• Use Word to compose a multimedia representation of the organising processes involved when a recording artist wants their music distributed. Take a screenshot of your diagram and embed it into the classwork post, and also attach the document to the post.

• As the audio data pass between different information systems with different purposes, needs and hardware/software, it is organised in suitable formats. Draw a similar diagram to the one above, showing what would occur in the filming and release of an international feature film. Think as broadly as you can!

• In the textbook, read p296 and answer questions 3, 4 and 8 on p297. After answering Q8, research Blu-ray and HD-DVD and write a summary of how these differ from both CD and DVD.

• If you complete all this, then commence your case study of websites that use multimedia effectively (Component 3B). Search for professional websites that use examples of well-designed multimedia.
Edit: fixed a typo.
