IPT: Overview of Databases

posted Feb 12, 2009, 3:54 AM by Eddie Woo
I didn't draw a picture of Sort the Robot today, so here's one artist's impression. I realise he doesn't look like the obsessive-compulsive type - but don't judge a book by its cover! (Or a robot by the symbol on his front chest.)

Thanks everyone for a good afternoon lesson today. It was very productive (not to mention filled with numerous examples of bad humour). Keep it up!

Tomorrow (or right now, if you are really keen to get a headstart) in period 3 you'll be looking at Exercise 2.3 in the small Heinemann textbook (page 62). Please answer questions 1-15 in a classwork post, and if you manage to finish that in time, make sure you're up-to-date with previous sets of questions and project register posts.

Don't forget that since we are well and truly into Term 1 now, the fortnightly post rule applies. If you've received any kind of feedback from your peers about the new intranet, summarise it and respond to it in a project register post - and if you haven't received any feedback at all yet, then go around and ask for some! People's first impressions can be particularly revealing and helpful, so make an effort to seek them out.

Since I won't see you till next Tuesday (morning class, and then period 7), have a good weekend everyone!
