Update: I've had to leave because of an emergency. You won't get your exam papers back today. Please go on and complete the first exam paper in your "IPT Book 2" exam booklet. - Mr. Woo

It took me some time, but it's finally done: your trial papers are marked. Your 36 combined hours of writing (i.e. 12 students * 3 hour exam) took me a total of 9 days to sift through and review. The marks are in, and well - it was a tough exam, to say the least! Analysis of our performance as a class follows:

Hopefully it's reasonably self-explanatory. The grey numbers indicate the mark allocations for each of the parts in Section B. I have lots of things to mention, so we'll talk about them in class. For reference, you can now download the exam paper and the monstrous 11,000-word specimen solutions / marking guidelines from the intranet.

As usual, you're to use this exam as a learning experience. In a classwork post, please compose a detailed question-by-question review of how you went, particularly noting where you surrendered marks and what general exam techniques you need to watch out for. Also, please compare your marks against the topic breakdown of the exam so that you can identify what your strong and weak topics are, and include this in your exam review.
