Communications, communications, communications... with participants:

Today, I spoke with Mr Woo in regards to the feedback to the changes that need to be made to the Maths faculty intranet subsystem. He raised the following points:
  1. Updates to the teacher list
  2. Adding of teacher qualifications
  3. Removal of the year 10 papers from 2008
  4. Archival of old programs
He informed me that the point 3 has already been done, so points 1, 2, and 4 are all that remain.

And with end users:

I also spoke to Andrew Chin from 10L. He has raised the following points, which are very important:
  1. Will the web calendar system be updated?
  2. Will a school network ban also result in a ban from intranet access?
  3. As the intranet is running using Google accounts, will students be able to use Google services such as Calendar, Google Docs, and Mail?
I wish to comment that, in terms of the second point, a school network ban should not result in an intranet ban.

It is almost impossible to do damage with a restricted read-only student account, and banning a student from intranet access for several weeks would be a very devastating way of hindering a student's learning, as it seems that the school will rely much more on the intranet in times to come.

I would like to congratulate Mr Woo. Your visitor counter has just passed 20,000. See the attached image.
