Data and it's problems

Data validity  often becomes a problem when collecting second-hand data on the internet. Due to the nature of the internet [it is open and unrestricted] anyone can simply edit an article to provide false information and no one will know. For example, when I was looking for tour guides for my case study I came across a completely irrelevant website despite the fact that it was in the first page as one of the 'more relevant' results for the search terms: 'tour' and 'guide'.

I noticed also while adding content to my multimedia system becomes an issue. Not only must I ensure that the data is valid, data integrity becomes an issue. Because it's aim was to educate, based on the Jacaranda textbook and the HSC course, the accuracy of the data is vital. To ensure that the data was valid and accurate, I had to communicate with system participants and users about the data I put on the intranet.

In this project I communicated with both Evan Tran and Bryan Zhu from 10AG1 about various facts about the farm as well as being given feedback from them about the multimedia system to ensure the data there was accurate.
