The components of my project are:
  1. Group Charter- containing the requirement report, feasibility study and process analysis and gantt chart all bound together in a comb binder 
  2. Promotional Material-An attractive brochure containing all the relevant information such as Details of the group and how to apply.
  3. Presentation-A speech backed by a powerpoint presentation to be used as a visual aid. 
I have finished all these components.

Today I finished my speech and powerpoint presentation. I timed the length of my speech and it was 3:30 minutes. While doing my brochure I forgot to add information on how students could apply to the club so I went back to Microsoft Publisher and re did my promotional material.

As mentioned before in one of the other posts, the presentation i will be doing involves a three minute speech backed by a powerpoint presentation. Today I am starting it and intend to finish it tomorrow. The speech is a succinct oral summary of my group charter.

I finished my brochure yesterday using Microsoft publisher. It is attractive and has all the relevanty information required to promote the Book Cklub.

Feedback from Mr.Woo

Today, Mr.Woo gave me feedback of my Possible Solutions, Economic Feasibility, Schedule Feasibility and Process Analysis. He said that the infomartion about each fundraising option in terms of the money should be transferred into the Economic feasibility so that the exact money can be known for each task. In the schedule feasibility, I have to give the exact time for each task instead of giving an approximation. The process analysis was fine.

Today I am starting my presentation for my assignment. What I intend to do is make a 3 minute speech outlining my findings and summary of my group accompanied by a powerpoint presentation that will be used as a visual aid. Problems associated with this are the timing of my speech in relation to the powerpoint and how would I use the animation effects effectively, meaning not overdoing it. Solutions to the first problem is by practicing the presentation numerous occasions to prepare for it successfully and for the second one it can be done by asking my parent of their opinion prior to the day. In order to prepare everything, I intend to finish this by tomorrow.

The promotional material that I am going to use for my IPT assignment is a double-sided A4 brochure, which would provide an eye-catching sight for students and also give them the required information they need about the set up of my Book Club. I am finishing my brochure today as I have given class time at school as well to work on my brochure. At this moment all I have to do is make the brochure look pleasant to read as I already have all the information on it. There was one problem I had while making this brochure as my computer at home is a Mac while the school computers are Windows. My solution to this problem was that I installed Virtual Machine Ware Fusion onto my Mac, which allowed me to use Windows on my home computer as well. However, sometimes I used my mum's work laptop, which is installed with Windows XP operating system like the school's.

Requirement Report and Feasibility Study and Process Analysis

Mr. Woo here are two parts of my assignment. I am nearly finished my Process analysis so I'll put that up later today as well. The components that I didn't understand were Possible Solutions, Economic and Schedule Feasibility. May you also check the Goals to see if that was what I was meant to do.

Gantt Chart

So far I am up to date with my Gantt chart. The main  problem that I encountered in making the Gantt chart was that I did not understand how to use the software MS Project. I asked my uncle and he showed me all the ways that I could construct a Gantt Chart by using the Gantt chart wizard. He also showed me how I could indent sections of the assignment to make it look like one large line. For example, all the parts of the requirement report were indented so the software added up the time required for all of them and then put a large black line above it to show the entire length of that component.
