Conny's Register

Okay it has been a very very long time since I have posted (when I first got onto my page I almost subscribed to my own posts) because of my goldfish memory BUT I have set a reminder on my phone now so hopefully I will post once a week now. Alrighty so from my last post I have done a lot but the majority of it was useless. I wrote the whole script for the Tran family mystery but then realised that it was stupid, would not be at all enjoyable to watch, much harder for me to make and wasn't even sure if it was a mystery. Smart aren't I. So I tried editing it but got really frustrated with my lack of creativeness and so I thought why not give writing the James Ruse mystery a shot? So I did, and ended up writing 7 pages of stuff. I kinda get carried away. And then I was right back in the same place I was before deciding to choose the Tran family mystery after much internal debate. So basically I filmed both. With my sisters (after vowing to never ever let anyone else see it ever again and with much begging). Printed out all the scripts, and we just held the paper while being filmed. One continuous take and no editing. Took around 20 minutes actually. And after much much more thinking and continuously choosing one film and then thinking no, the other one would be better and then some god I hate both of these ideas I just want to start from scratch, I realised that I was indecisive. And also, that I was going to do the James Ruse mystery. And even now, I still feel uneasy. Would it have been better to choose Tran family mystery? Is the James Ruse mystery even a mystery? My gosh after thinking about it for so long I don't even know any more. But oh well.

Do not fear! I have not abandoned thee! I have made some progress on my project, even though I may have not posted in my register (sorry, my bad). But in this time, I have been reviewing and adding magnificent touches to all my drafts, trying to make them better. Even though I am still not 100% happy, I have a couple more days to review my final project, the last thing on my Gantt chart! This was fun and all, but I say ado and I hope that I do not have to do this for another project even though it may keep me on track. It takes me as long to write this paragraph as it does for me to write a page of my actual assignment >.>
Hope you had fun reading!

Project Progress!

In the time between the last post and now, I have done the parts e to g of the draft requirement report, a draft Feasibility report and the draft processes for the group! The drafts are a little rough though so they will require some additions. More updates later! :D

Second the best! (Except it really isn't all that exciting)

So far, I have created my Gantt chart so I actually have to follow something, created my title page, "The Culture Corner!". But because of my lacking art skills, it really doesn't look that nice. I began the draft of my requirement report 3 days ago, only the ones from a-d though, and today I plan to look over it and add anything else I deem necessary onto it. Also, I am going to do the draft req report for the question e-g. Soooo that's pretty much it. It doesn't sound like much but since there are another 5 assignments I have to do now, it is quite a bit. So yeh!

First Project Time!

Some sort of timetable club? We are getting a lot of projects. I wonder if teachers know that the due date of all these projects are all at the same time. They also hand these assignment out around the same time, which is quite annoying. The SRC attempted to fix this problem but failed and have moved on. I want to somehow edit this so that we can all get assignments at different times, instead of in intense waves that smother everyone. That was very graphic.
Beautification club. My sister just started learning architechture at Uni. Perhaps we could start create a group designed to beautify our school. Because it really isn't that gorgeous. No offense. If we create an architechture program, it could be good practice for a course at Uni and ideas could be used. But a beautification program may be much more simple.
Oh! Magic club would be cool! But I don't think people watching or learning magician tricks would solve any problems.
A culture club could help inform the school about the other cultures out there since we aren't a very multicultural school. Plus it could be very interesting for people to dress up or eat other foods that aren't advertised as heavily to experience hands first different cultures.
Time management club. As James Ruse students, we have a lot to handle and some students aren't very good at it. So if we made a club that would teach time management as well as organising something else, it would be interesting.
Book club. As Rusians, we generally like books. The next big Harry Potter books could be discussed, and you can be in different groups where people talk about the books you like or whatnot. And it helps to expand the readings of students. And new books that are interesting can be added into our library.
Motivators club. Students can help to find motivational speakers to speak at assembly to help raise morale. Actually, I could use a speaker at assembly to bring up the hype on the club I end up choosing. They can also try to find appropriate speakers for other grades.
I don't really like any of these ideas.
