Finalising the prototype

In total, I have created:

1 Video (2-3 minutes in length)
1 website.

Both have been made to contain a sufficient amount of detail so that the video could proceed as it is, or could be accompanied by a website.

As of now, I am leaning towards using a website as my main form of representing the mystery, as it would be better able to convey all 5 types of multimedia, as video would usually be primarily based on animations and video, as opposed to numerical/text etc.

Therefore, I will be performing more work on my website, as I would like it to be presentable by the conclusion of the prototyping stage, in order to go further, such as through adjusting things from user responses, without any greater delay. The video will probably be embedded in one of the pages to my website, and I am thinking of placing my whole mystery onto the site via links. I think that multimedia may be better represented if a website directed the user to external sources, which each may show a form of multimedia that represents itself ideally suited to the specific clue given.

My potential user survey has been completed, and I am currently looking at distributing it via email, as this seems to be the easiest and most convenient method. However, as I realised earlier, survey emails possibly fall into the category of spam and receive little attention (I never/always delete any surveys i get, from personal experience!), I may be condensing it and printing the survey out in order to acquire faster and better responses/response rates.
